Description of the Project:

The organization’s comprehensive approach aims at the sustainable, ecological and social development in rural communities. The project supports women entrepreneurs as well as families in need in setting up and running their own ecological-agricultural businesses and thus promotes women’s (financial) independence and organic farming. Furthermore, the project offers English classes to children and adults of the community to give them a better future.


  • Help women and families to establish and run their own agricultural micro-businesses
  • Do administrative work or work in the field of marketing
  • Organize workshops in order to pass on your knowledge about business administration to micro-entrepreneurs
  • Teach English to children and adults
  • Work schedule: Monday-Friday from 8 am. till 5 pm.


  • Minimum stay: 2 months
  • Spanish level: at least basic knowledge
  • Study or work experience in the fields of administration, business and commerce, teaching English; interest in environmental and sustainable rural development, interest in eco-farming; cultural sensitivity and openness to learn new skills

Accommodation, Benefits and Costs:

  • Stay at a host family (from 50 US$/ week incl. breakfast)
  • Proyecto Mosaico books your lodging, Spanish school and your transportation from the airport, furthermore we offer individual assistance provided by the office in Granada before, throughout and after your stay
  • For our services we ask a one-time-only fee of 250 € regardless of the length of your stay
